Our art therapy group meets on the first Thursday of the month at Surrey Hills Neighbour Centre. This group provides a safe and caring space for people impacted by road trauma. The classes are filled with an atmosphere of love, mutual support and respect. A sense of belonging is encouraged.
The purpose of art therapy is to guide people through a variety of creative processes to facilitate self-expression and enhance wellbeing. Art therapy allows feelings to emerge in creative images expressing grief, loss, love and hope.

In 2013 the Art Therapy Group made The Forever Tree, representing the hope that life and beauty can come out of the experience of grief and pain.
In 2017 the group made a felt work and poem titled – Life After the Fall.
