Shine a Light on Road Safety campaign 2018
Shine a Light on Road Safety is a community awareness campaign to stop deaths and injuries on our roads and to raise funds to support those impacted by road trauma. Join us and the thousands of Victorian’s who take part in Shine a Light on Road Safety. #shinealightonroadsafety
When: Sunday 6 May 2018. Entertainment starts at 11am, walk from 11.30am and lunch from 12.00pm to 1.30 pm. REGISTER HERE
Where: Palms Lawn, Albert Park Lake (between the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre and The Point Restaurant)
Distance: 2km or 5km route. Or just sit back in the marquee seating and enjoy a coffee and chat.
The walk: Wheelchair, mobility scooter and prams accessible. Dogs on a lead are welcome.
Food: Water, coffee, snacks and a sausage sizzle BBQ on site.
Tickets: $15 an individual, $20 a family and $50 a team.

People talked, cried and laughed together and were united in the ambition to make a difference. I think this a community of people who will continue to come together each year in support of this event and, who will ultimately help influence change for Victoria’s road users.”

On Friday 4 May 2018 turn on your headlights to demonstrate a commitment to road safety.
During the week key icons across Australia will be illuminated in yellow.
